These are the docs for 13.3, an old version of SpatialOS. The docs for this version are frozen: we do not correct, update or republish them. 14.5 is the newest →

Each deployment is associated with a collection of metrics which are graphed using Grafana.

Metrics dashboards

Currently, there’s a “SpatialOS metrics” dashboard which shows all metrics, and four other dashboards, each showing a set of metrics to help you investigate particular areas of your deployment:

  • Check deployment health
  • Debug workers and nodes
  • Debug entities and commands
  • Check worker performance and network egress

You can access these dashboards from the deployment overview page in the Console:

Each graph has an explanation of the metric it shows, along with information about how this metric is useful.

Other ways to access metrics

If you use in-house or third-party analytics software, you can set it up to display SpatialOS metrics. For more information, see Accessing logs and metrics on your own analytics platform.

You can also access the metrics through code.
