Getting alerts when there are problems with SpatialOS clusters
If you use OpsGenie with your game in production, you can subscribe to receive alerts if a SpatialOS cluster has a problem.
Prerequisites
- You have admin rights on your OpsGenie team. You’ll need this in order to create a new integration.
1. Create an integration on OpsGenie
Go to the
Integrations
section of your OpsGenie admin page:Open the
Add New Integrations
tab, and chooseStatus.io
.In the instructions section of the setup page, take note of this URL(you’ll need it for Status.io):
Assign your new integration to the appropriate team, and click
Save Integration

2. Subscribe to Status.io updates
Go to the SpatialOS Status.io page and click
Subscribe
:Choose the
Webhook
option and enter your OpsGenie URL and email address:Click
Subscribe
- you will receive an email with an activation link. Follow the link to open this configuration page:Choose the clusters you want to be notified about. This will probably be:
- the platform clusters
- the prod clusters for the region in which your game is running
Click
Save Subscription
.
You’ve finished! You’ll now get an OpsGenie notification if there’s a problem with the clusters you chose.
